Information we collect

When you send the enquiry form we receive your name, email address, chosen session, preferred date, whether you will visit the room or join by call, and the message you write. When you email or telephone, we receive whatever you choose to say, plus the technical details your mail provider or the phone network adds. At a session we keep the addresses you asked us to read and the field notes required for the recap or the brief. We ask you not to send recovery phrases or private keys. If you do, we delete that material and do not enter it in the session file.

The site stores your cookie choice in local storage in your browser under the key logiccompass-cookie-choice. Details are on the cookie notice. Server logs of the host may include your IP address and the page requested, kept by the host for security and then discarded on the host’s ordinary cycle.

Why we use it

We use enquiry and booking details to answer you, hold a seat, prepare a session, send a recap or a brief, and handle a cancellation or refund. We use session addresses only to do the reading you asked for. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it to build an advertising profile.

Retention

Enquiry correspondence is kept for 24 months after the last message, so we can match a follow-up question to the earlier booking. Session notes and briefs are kept for 36 months, because readers sometimes return to the same mint. Accounting records of fees are kept for the period Korean tax rules require. The cookie choice stays in your browser until you clear it. When a retention period ends, we delete the file or reduce it to a record that no longer names you.

Your rights

Under the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea you may ask to see the personal information we hold, to correct it, to delete it, to stop a particular use, or to object to a use that is not required for the booking. We may refuse a deletion that would break a tax duty or a live refund dispute, and we will explain the refusal. To use these rights, email hello@logiccompass.click or write to the address above. You may also complain to the Personal Information Protection Commission.

International transfers

Logic Compass keeps enquiry files and session notes in the Republic of Korea. When your browser loads fonts for this site, it contacts Google’s font service, which may process your IP address outside Korea under Google’s own terms. If you write to us from a mailbox hosted abroad, that provider processes the message on its own systems. We do not move session notes to a foreign processor for storage. If that practice changes, we will update this notice before the change.

Children

Study sessions are booked by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
