Logic Compass, established 2021
The official registered business name is Logic Compass. The library was established in 2021 in Geumsan-gun, South Chungcheong, Republic of Korea. Han Seo-yeon opened a single reading room on Insam-ro after a year of sitting with small study circles in Daejeon who wanted Solana account layouts explained the way a ledger is explained: line by line, with the name of each field written down.
She trained in accountancy, not in a software house. The early sessions were kitchen tables and borrowed classrooms. In 2021 the work took a street address, a shelf of printed field lists, and a rule that is still on the door: addresses may be brought in, seed phrases may not.
Park Min-jae joined in 2023 to lead the Saturday workshop. He had kept the books of a small agricultural cooperative in the county and was tired of group chats that mixed up a mint with a token account. He still teaches the SPL Token instruction list in the same order the program meets a new account.
How we sit with a reader
A session starts from the account the reader actually has, not from a sample we prefer. We ask which field is unclear, then we still begin at the mint, because skipping it is how the unclear field became unclear. Notes are written by the reader. We keep a recap of the marked lines so the follow-up email matches the sheet, and we do not keep a recovery phrase because we do not accept one.
The county context matters to the way we talk. Many of our readers handle shared money for clubs, drying sheds, and family shops. They want to know who can freeze a balance and who can close an empty account. They are rarely asking for a speech about markets. When a question is about price, tax, or a signature, we say the desk covers the fields, and we point them back to their own adviser for the rest.
What we hold as working rules
- Name the account you are reading before you name the amount.
- Mint authority and freeze authority are read from the mint, not inferred from a balance.
- One reader speaks at the desk. The Saturday table stops at eight.
- A quote for a written brief is agreed before the reading starts.
